My girlfriend and I are very happy with the Moulin Rouge Show with Paris Illuminations Tour package that we booked with Isango. To be honest, at first we were not very interested in the illuminations tour. We were traveling with a tour group and we expected that the illuminations tour would overlap with the sights that we would've seen anyways. The main reason we decided to book the package rather than just the show directly with Moulin Rouge was because of the promise of dropping us off back at our hotel at the end of the night. As it would turn out, the illuminations tour was surprisingly delightful. Even though we had already seen many of the Parisian sights earlier that day with our own tour group, the illuminations tour offered a fresh experience. Seeing the city at night is definitely a worthwhile experience in itself. Moreover, the illuminations tour took us to some sights we hadn't seen during the day and was very informative. Just as importantly, the fact that they dropped us off back at our hotel at the end of the night was extremely helpful, especially since the show ended past 1am in the morning! It saved us the cost of the taxi ride back, which would have easily been 50 Euros! The illuminations tour was an all-around pleasure. As for the Moulin Rouge show itself, what can I possibly say about it that hasn't already been said to death? The show was amazing! The music, the dancing, the costumes, and even the sideshows...everything about it was absolutely spectacular! Admittedly, it was a bit cheesy at times, but that's kind of the point. My only gripe for the entire night was the fact that are seats were behind a rather large pillar that obstructed part of my view of the side of the stage. The obstruction turned out to be hardly noticeable once the show got started. Plus, the seats allowed my girlfriend and I to have a private table to ourselves instead of sharing with a group. That was very much an upside as the room was packed. However, once the show starts, you can't help but forget everything else. It was so engrossing that despite being a 2-hour show, it was over before I even realized. Overall, the package was exceptional. Both the show and the illumination tour surpassed our expectations and were very much worth the money. I highly recommend this package to anyone new to Paris who is interested in watching the Moulin Rouge show and I highly recommend the Moulin Rouge show to anyone and everyone.
Really enjoyed the tour & will be doing it again.
Bit shaky on the pickup because there-was no explanation of the organization . Once we were in the tour proper it was excellent. Tour leader was entertaining and knowledgeable and the sites visited were very interesting . Traveling between sites we were fully informed of life in Singapore .
