  • Going private: Why not add something extra to your visit? Taking a private or small group tour means you'll get a more personal experience. Ask questions and listen to stories larger groups won't hear; it's the small details after all. 
  • Drink it in: Poznan is famous for its beer! Lech is brewed here, so what better excuse to try some while you are exploring the city.

Best time to visit

Head to Poznan during the summer months, and you'll catch the best of the weather. May to September. If you do have to go during the winter months, then best to avoid January, as it's at its coldest.

Getting around

There are several ways to explore Poznan. First, public transport is good with buses and trams. Taxis are also reliable and not too bad on the wallet. Then, of course, you can hire a car to head out and explore the region. But in the city, on foot is as good a method as any.    

Stay Safe

You'll find Poznan to be a safe city, as is much of Poland. Although with increased tourist numbers, petty crime will occur, so make sure to have any valuables secure as you explore.
