      See lots in little time

      Overall it's a recommended tour as you get to see the most of Paris within the shortest time possible with clear recorded audio guides in English. However organisation was a disaster as the time stated for end of tour of one of the bus lines was incorrect and we were stuck in the middle of nowhere, with no connection to the other bus that would take us back to the starting point.

      We are very pleased with the organizer. We ordered the entire package on the Internet just three days before the show and got the confirmation e-mail the next day. Remember to get tickets for the trip and the show at the organizer's office at the bus departure, take the receipt you received by e-mail. It was cold on the boat trip along the Seine, then take with blankets or dress well.

      Good value!

      We weren't really sure what to expect as we'd never booked through an agent for an event like this before. However, after receiving good clear communications via email after we booked, we found their office easily and boarded one of the coaches parked outside. We were going to get an Illuminations Tour before the Moulin Rouge. What we weren't told was that we were also going on a boat trip (which wasn't mentioned) before the Moulin Rouge- happy days! It meant we were going to see the 11pm Moulin Rouge show which was no problem but wasn't communicated to us as we were kind of expecting the earlier show. The coach was modern and comfortable, a double decker, and we enjoyed the Illuminations tour which was interesting (if not a little traffic-y, but that's hardly the fault of the tour company). The boat trip was OK, but not brilliant. Nothing much really can be said on that. We got dropped in Monmartre after that, and the guide walked us to the Moulin Rouge where we queued for 5-10mins, then we went in. I was concerned that we were at the back as I'd heard lots of stories about the MR being very crowded and was worried about getting poor seats. However, we ended up getting a table at the back with a great view of the stage, on a raised section and a nice (included in the price) bottle of champagne to share between four of us. All in all, very happy with the trip. What we paid for the whole evening was the same as if we'd just bought tickets at the MR box office, so I feel we got decent value for money. Would recommend!
