We loved Alhambra and would recommend it to anyone who visits Granada. Our only problem was the audio guide which we were given when we collected our tickets. Far too complicated. The lady in the tourist office tried to tell us how to work it, but she was in a hurry and rushed through the instructions. When we tried to make it work there was no sound. We tried everything but couldn't make it work. When I took it back to the tourist office, the lady said that it was on mute and couldn't work. This was not explained to us at the time. We were very disappointed as we'd paid for the audio guide but had to abandon it. Please try and make it less complicated. If one of our sons had been with us he could probably have made it work; unfortunately however, they were not there.
It was a very enjoyable experience, the knowledge of the tour guide was great, he made it fun as well as interesting. Loved the way you could jump off and on whenever you wished to do so and the another plus benefit was the ticket was valid for 48 hours. Thank you
The Alhambra is a must see - beautiful and mjestic. Going with a knowledgable and enthusiastic guide is a bonus, I came away with the much better understanding and appriciate of the place. Don't bother taking the coach back to your hotel afterwards - its an easy stroll down the hill into the city and gives you a different perspective of the palace - well worth the walk.
