YARRA VALLEY WINE TOUR

Take some time to soak up the pictorial beauty of the mountain ranges, rolling hills, and vineyards around you. Let your well-informed guide take you to your first destination for the day - Gateway Estate Farmhouse, a high tech hydroponic greenhouse that grows strawberries and capsicums. Indulge in servings of fresh fruit and seasonal produce and gain insight on sustainable farming techniques used by the farmhouse. Don’t forget to taste their strawberry liqueurs, preserves, and cheeses. You may even pick some strawberries from the farm at an extra cost.

Get transported further to the rustic cellar door of Napoleone Cider and Brewery House where you’re presented with generous samples of delicious ciders and ales. Then, visit the famous Dominque Portet Winery to try their rare 10th generation French sparkling wine. Your next surprise is another tasting session at the Rochford Winery that creates the finest of dry wines. Finally, move to the upper side of Yarra Valley to enjoy delicious platters and Italian inspired wines at the Killara Estate Winery, while enjoying the amazing views of the valley.

After an extensive wine tasting spree, take a lunch break at a restaurant overlooking the gardens and the stunning valley. Marvel at the stunning lush views as you enjoy delicious dishes, prepared from local gourmet produce. Treat yourself with antipasto sharing plates in the first course followed by a mix of light seasonal meals.

Conclude this amazing trip with a final chocolate treat at the Yarra Valley Chocolaterie and Ice Creamery, which produces over 250 different handcrafted chocolate and truffle varieties.
