    Enjoy a day of leisure, adventure and wildlife watching at the famous Phillip Island, just 90 minutes from Melbourne! Experience the best of Phillip Island Nature Park with visits to the Koala Conservation Centre, the historic Churchill Island Heritage Farm and the world-famous Penguin Parade.

    • Koala Conservation Centre: Explore the eucalypt woodland and observe furry koalas and wallabies in their natural habitat. Observe koalas from unique tree top boardwalks and close viewing areas and take in sweeping views of the beautiful natural wetland area. Don’t miss out on seeing this year’s koala joeys, as they learn to climb, find food and interact among themselves.
    • Churchill Island Heritage Farm: Watch sheep-shearing and herding demonstrations and stroll through the fragrant cottage gardens and lawns. Step back in time and experience the past lives of early Australian settlers and past farming practices. The Visitor Centre features an exhibition on the history of the island, quality gift shop and licensed café.
    • Penguin Parade: See Little Penguins returning ashore after a day’s fishing. Take in the spectacular coastal scenery from viewing stands and boardwalks and see the world’s smallest penguins arrive and waddle across the beach to their sand dune burrows at sunset.

    Upgrade your Philip Island 3 Park Pass to the Penguin Plus option at the Penguin Parade and enjoy up-close viewing of the little penguins, complete with ranger commentary on the fascinating lives of the penguins. The viewing platform overlooks the most popular pathway at the Penguin Parade and is limited to a maximum of 300 people.

    The confirmation voucher includes the local activity operator’s contact details. They’re a nice bunch, and will happily answer any logistical questions you may have. Please give them a call at least 24 hours before your organised activity to reconfirm.

    Penguin Parade, Koalas and Churchill island are open everyday of the year from 10am (except on Christmas Day when the Penguin Parade and Koalas open at 2pm and Churchill island is closed).

    Video and Photography is not permitted at the Penguin Parade or any of the penguin viewing options

    The Penguin Parade occurs every evening at sunset for a duration of 1 hour. Visitors must arrive at the visitor centre before the penguins cross the beach and stay for at least 1 hour, however to experience all the activities and attractions on offer it is recommended that you arrive 1-2 hours before sunset.
