    The highlight of the tour is a trip to the Eureka Skydeck, located on the 88th floor of the world’s tallest residential building. Gaze out at Melbourne from every angle, and look past the city’s skyscrapers as they recede towards the Yarra River.


    The tour starts from the Melbourne Day Tour Centre, where you will board an air-conditioned coach and set out to explore Melbourne city. Complimentary hotel pick-ups can be arranged from central Melbourne hotels, but are not guaranteed.

    Drive past the Old Melbourne Gaol, Lygon Street also known as ‘Little Italy,’ Melbourne University, Parliament House and Princess Theatre. Enjoy a photo-stop at St Patrick’s Cathedral.

    Next, explore Fitzroy Gardens, one of the major Victorian-era gardens in Australia and the site of Captain Cook’s Cottage, where the famed English explorer spent some years of his childhood.

    Moving forward, visit Queen Victoria Market and see the fresh produce that is sold in this largest open-air market in the Southern Hemisphere. Eat, shop and discover your way through the food stalls and heritage sheds.

    Continue with a guided walking tour through some of Melbourne’s best arcades and laneways like the Royal Arcade, Block Arcade, Centre Place and Degraves Street.

    Your tour ends with a trip to the Eureka Tower. Melbourne’s most distinctive skyscraper boasts the highest viewing platform in the Southern Hemisphere, some 300 meters above sea level.

    Take an elevator to the Eureka Skydeck on the 88th floor, which lets you look out over this diverse cosmopolitan city from a glassed-in observatory in the clouds.
