Enjoy a fun ride on the Melbourne Star, a giant observation wheel located in the Waterfront City precinct. It is one of the four giant observation wheels in the world, and the only one within the Southern Hemisphere.
Catch breathtaking views of the Dockland precinct, Melbourne’s Central Business District and Port Phillip Bay/ One complete rotation takes 30 minutes and offers uninterrupted 360-degree views of up to 40 kilometres. You will see stunning views from as far as Mount Macedon, Arthur’s Seat and the Dandenong Range.
You have two ticket option – the general admission ticket and the Encore Package, a dual ticket providing you with the opportunity to experience the ride twice – perhaps by day and by night?
Melbourne Star’s 21 spacious cabins accommodate 20 people and give you the space to walk around and take in the view from all angles. The cabins are also fitted with audio commentary which gives you a brief introduction to the history and significance of the sights.

The last flight departure is 30 minutes before the advertise closing time.
Melbourne Star Observation Wheel may be closed from 31st Aug to 9th Sept and it will re-open on 10th Sept at 11 am due to annual maintenance schedule.
