Your day begins with a treat at the Great Ocean Road Chocolaterie and Ice Creamery, one of Victoria’s favorite chocolate factories. Sample their handcrafted chocolates and ice creams and enjoy a face-to-face meeting with their talented chocolate artists. You may even visit their café to enjoy a yummy freshly-brewed cup of coffee or hot chocolate. Travel further to visit the historic Memorial Arch and learn about the history of this National Heritage-listed road which pays tribute to the World War I servicemen. Enjoy great photo opportunities at this location. Drive by the quaint resort towns of Anglesea and Lorne and admire the marvelous coastal views with lofty cliffs, pristine beaches, abundant vegetation and unique wildlife. Indulge in wildlife spotting and look our for koalas hanging on the eucalyptus trees along with the vibrant native birdlife.Embark on another walk through the Razorback and step down to the beautiful Loch Ard Gorge. Walk by the famous beach and learn about the tragic Loch Ard shipwreck. Witness its legendary limestone formations that were created by the erosion of the cliffs.
