On this all-Napa, all-highlights wine tasting tour from San Francisco, brace yourelf for an action-packed day of history, architecture, gardens and memorable toasts. Your wine enthusiast guide will prepare you for experiences at three of the most celebrated Napa Valley wineries. Once there, you will be treated to reserve wines estate grown in the California Wine Country.
Cross the Bay Bridge and take in stunning views of the city skyline. As you travel, learn about the many microclimates and soil types that combine to produce some of the world’s best winemaking grapes – Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Merlot, Zinfandel, Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc.
Visit Castello di Amorosa, a medieval-styled Tuscan castle winery constructed using more than 200 containers of European materials and furnishings. On your way to vaulted wine cellars, check out the moat, drawbridge, towers, courtyards, and armory. Thankfully, Castello di Amorosa puts the same love and attention into its wines which are elegant, intensely flavored, and well-balanced.
Next, your Napa wine tasting tour takes a fun photo stop at the Napa Valley Welcome Sign. Your lunch break is in charming Calistoga, California. Among its hot springs, elegant spas and yoga studios, you’ll have no trouble finding the perfect lunch spot - perhaps sampling another locally crafted wine with your meal.
After lunch, you will be treated to one of the most unique wine experiences in Napa Valley. Tamber Bey Winery shares its idyllic 22 acres with Sundance Ranch, a world-class equestrian facility. From the tasting courtyard, you’ll be treated to stunning views of Mount St. Helena while you mingle with the Arabian horses and enjoy the winemaker’s selection of 100% estate-grown Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Chardonnay wines. The Deux Chevaux Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is always a crowd pleaser.
The tour ends at a picturesque location overlooking a sun soaked Carneros vineyard that has been cultivated for over 100 years. Kieu Hoang (formerly Michael Mondavi Family Estate) is perfectly situated to be cooled each evening by breezes from San Pablo Bay—Ideal conditions for Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes. Take time to chill while enjoying a private, seated tasting of reserve Napa Valley wines.
On the journey back to San Francisco (weather permitting) stop at a scenic look-out point with sweeping views of the Golden Gate Bridge where you can snap some keepsake photos of Marin Headlands, San Francisco skyline, and Alcatraz Island.

For international guests, please be aware that the legal drinking age in the United States is 21 years of age.
While we endeavor to follow the scheduled itinerary, winery closures, special events, holidays, or unforeseeable circumstances can occasionally require us to substitute a winery with one of comparable quality and appeal.
The ticket is valid for guests 21 years old and above. But, for accompanying children under 8 years of age, tour guests must bring a car safety seat for all children who are 4' 9" or taller or weighing less than 60 pounds. Failure to provide a seat for your child will result in forfeiture of seats on the tour without refund.
Wine tasting fees are not included as often the tour is tailored to the wishes of the group. You will enjoy tastings at four to six boutique wineries. Some wineries offer complimentary tastings, but most charge a fee ranging from $5 to $20.
NOTE: Special events, temporary winery closures, or unforeseeable circumstances can occasionally require us to substitute with a comparable premium winery.
The local activity operator reserves the right to cancel, modify or alter any tour due to weather or unsafe conditions. They will always do what they can to make your trip enjoyable, but safety is top priority, so the route and itinerary may be changed due to snow depth, road conditions, construction projects and detours.
Vehicle selection is determined by the tour operator.
The tour vehicle does not have a wheelchair lift, passengers need to have the ability to step up onto vehicle. Collapsible wheelchairs can be accommodated.

Changes are subject to a 10% or US$25 fee, whichever is greater.
Additional wine tasting fees may apply
Should you miss the hotel pick up please contact the activity operator. An alternative pick up location may be arranged, subject to availability.
Any guest who misses their tour entirely will forfeit their seat on the tour and no refunds will be issued.
There should be minimum 4 passengers for guaranteed departure. Should this number not be met for your chosen date you will be offered an alternative date or a full refund.
The confirmation voucher includes the local activity operator’s contact details and local telephone numbers at the destination. They will happily answer any logistical questions you may have.
The tour will be conducted in a 15-passenger van or mini-bus, but the activity operator will endeavour to keep passenger numbers to 10 on this tour.Gratuities are not included in the tour price. The tour operator recommends a gratuity of 15 percent if you are happy with the services received.
