Overview

Escape the bustling city and escape into the stunning Muir Woods before doing a little wine tasting!

Cross over the famous Golden Gate Bridge on your way to Muir Woods, a primeval forest. See redwood trees over 200 feet tall and 1,000 years old! Walk along the picturesque trails and try to spot a black-tailed deer, gray fox, wild turkey, bobcat, or banana slug! Be sure to have your camera at the ready because these elusive creatures don’t stick around for long. You’ll have about one hour to explore this old-growth forest before continuing on your journey for some Sonoma and Napa Valley wine tasting!

And, you’ll be doing plenty of said wine tasting at 3 exclusive wineries found in both Sonoma and the world-renowned Napa Valley. Savor your favorite varietals as you learn about the wine making process: From tiny seed to the merry-making beverage we all know and love! You might want to bring along a little extra cash because the wine on offer during the Redwoods & Wine Country Tour can’t be found in retail stores.

Along the way, you’ll stop at Sonoma Plaza for a lunch break and some shopping at the quaint, boutique shops. Either bring your own picnic or upgrade your tour for a specially prepared sit-down meal and wine pairing. As the tour winds down and you are heading back to the city, one last stop will be made in front of the Golden Gate Bridge, conditions permitting. This is a great opportunity to take a photo in front of the bridge and with the S.F. skyline in the background!

This true two-for-one ticket showcasing the best that nature has to offer is one of the best things to do near San Francisco!
