Directions from St Mark’s square: Facing St Mark’s basilica, turn right and walk to the waterfront and after passing the two giant columns, turn right again – Walk along the waterfront full of street souvenirs vendors, after 200 meters on your right find the Royal Gardens. Avventure Bellissime tour coordinator will have a sign with the name of the tour written on it.
Arriving by Water-Bus (Vaporetto): Get off at St Marco Vallaresso stop , turn right , cross over a small bridge and after a few meters you’ll find the Royal Gardens on your left.
If you get off at St Zaccaria waterbus stop: Turn left and walk along the waterfront until you will find the gardens on your right (approx 10 minutes walk from this stop to meeting point)
Please report at the meeting point 10 minutes before the start time. This is mandatory to allow time for pre-departure briefing.
The tour ends at St Marks Square
This tour provides the perfect introduction to Venice. You will explore the two sides of Venice; start in St Mark's Square, the large piazza which is the heart of Venice and continue to explore the intricate, narrow and winding back streets of Venice.
The first stop for many visitors to Venice is Piazza San Marco. This large square is at the very heart of the city and is home to the famous Basilica di San Marco and the distinctive pink and white Doge's Palace.
You will also explore the back streets of Venice, the narrow alleyways are home to beautiful canals, churches and piazzas that enthrall visitors. One of those you will visit was the home of Marco Polo, while there you will learn more about the famous explorer.
To complete your Venice sightseeing board your motor launch for a cruise along Venice’s canals. You will cruise down the bustling Grand Canal as well as some of the smaller canals.
To ensure safety and well-being of our guests, the itinerary of the tour has been amended to follow the Covid-19 guidelines. Visits to St Mark's Basilica may be subject to restrictions. Depending on the situation on the day of the tour the itinerary may be amended to offer you the best experience possible

Please call the local activity operator anytime between 9:00am – 5:00pm, Monday to Saturday, atleast a day prior to the start of the tour to confirm the departure details.
Your tour guide will be holding a sign with the name of the tour written on it.
Knees and shoulders must be covered for entrance to churches.
Large bags are not allowed into the basilica.
The Grand Canal cruise may not follow immediately after the walking tour, the time you should meet for the Grand Canal will be confirmed on the day of the tour.
Children must be accompanied by an adult. Infant seats are available on special request if advised at the time of booking.
Unfortunately, this tour is not suitable for people with mobility problems. However, please mention while booking so that alternative routes could be arranged.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, St Mark's Basilica will remain temporarily closed for visitors until further notice.
