    Meeting Point

    The meeting point for the tour is the water bus station on the Tronchetto (pier). Your guide will be waiting outside holding a sign for the “Hill Towns of the Veneto”.
    Please report at the meeting point 15 minutes before the start time. This is mandatory to allow time for pre-departure briefing.

    Ending Point

    The tour returns to the original point of departure.

  • Overview & Itinerary


    Spend a day in the beautiful hills of Veneto near Venice. Stroll around enchanting villages and towns, and savour the delicious cuisine and famous wines of the Veneto. From Asolo, enjoy the scenic beauty that has inspired poets and writers over the centuries. A tour of Veneto would be incomplete without visiting a Palladian villa. Enjoy a guided tour of Villa Barbaro and see the fine frescoes that have made it so popular with tourists.


    The tour will start from Tronchetto, Venice at 09:00am. You will travel in an air-conditioned vehicle accompanied by an English-speaking driver-cum-guide. On this relaxed tour you will explore the some of the most beautiful hill towns of Veneto.

    Start with Medieval Marostica, with its imposing castle and giant chess-board permanently laid-out in the town square. Continue to Bassano del Grappa where you will enjoy a guided tour of the town which includes a magnificent Palladian bridge crossing the mighty Brenta river.

    In Asolo enjoy the spectacular views of the surrounding countryside which, have inspired poets and writers over the centuries. Enjoy a guided tour of Villa Barbaro one of Palladio's most celebrated works.

    End the day on the Prosecco wine road visiting a local vineyard with stunning views of the terraced slopes thickly planted with vines, enjoy a refreshing glass of Prosecco or two.

    At the end of the tour you will be returned to Venice. The tour ends at Tronchetto at around 6:00pm.

    Please call the local activity operator anytime between 9:00am – 5:00pm, Monday to Saturday, atleast a day prior to the start of the tour to confirm the departure details.

    This is a small group tour and operates with a maximum 8 passengers per person. However a minimum of 5 are required to operate the tour. If you book this tour and the minimum of 5 passengers is not met you will be given the option to move to another departure or a full refund will be given
