    Overview

Survey the delicate ecosystems of the Sierra Nevadas on an Intense Nature Yosemite & Tahoe Eco-tour!

Your 4-day Intense Nature Yosemite & Tahoe Eco-tour begins with a scenic drive from San Francisco into the beautiful Sierra Nevada mountain range and the world-famous Yosemite National Park. There you can have a picnic under the shade of ancient giant sequoia trees, swim in the Merced River, or hike one of the many trails in Yosemite Valley. And, these are just some of the things to do in Yosemite!

You will see Yosemite’s Tioga Pass, Tenaya Lake, and Tuolumne meadows before spending the night in Mammoth Lakes. You’ll have the option to visit Ansel Adams Wilderness area, where natural wonders like the Devil’s Postpile National Monument or Rainbow Falls can be found. Learn about the California Gold Rush history and visit Bodie Ghost Town, an old gold mining town now left deserted.

Of course, you’ll explore Lake Tahoe, the largest alpine lake in North America. Take a hike near Emerald Bay or Kings Beach to fully appreciate the beauty of the area! At the end of your tour, you will also follow the historic Pony Express Trail through El Dorado National Forest. If you’re a history buff, it’s one of the best things to do in Lake Tahoe!

On your eco-tour, we will do our best to help you minimize your impact on the environment by transporting you in a bio-fuelled minibus! It’s what to do in San Francisco!
