Overview

Enjoy an unforgettable evening of Mozart's classical compositions in the Baroque Hall of St. Peter monastery, Salzburg. With live musical performance that seems to transcend time itself, dive into this opera house lit entirely by candles, bejeweled with gifted musicians and artists in authentic costumes, swaying to the music of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

Eine kleine Nachtmusik is one of his most renowned compositions from 1787 made for a chamber ensemble. Translating to "a little serenade" this composition is indeed true to its name and is sure to serenade you in this real candle lit room of the Baroque Hall. Drift away to the arias and duettos from the comic opera The Magic of Figaro, The Magic Flute and Don Giovanni based on the legendary tale of Don Juan.

After enjoying the soulful musical performance, the intermissions during concert focus on satisfying your gustatory senses. A 3-course dinner menu based on historic recipes awaits, ranging from rosemary laden soups and quark filled roasted capaun to honey flavoured parfait. Christmas time expands to a 4-course meal with an addition of terrine of veal and oranges with traditional mulled wine made of Austrian pear.
