    PanificioPattiniViaSolferino 5, Milano. Close to the Lanza – BreraUnderground Station (about 5 minutes walk). From Lanza underground station take Via Tivoli and carry on to Via Pontaccio, turn left on Via Solferino.

  • Ending Point

    The tour ends in Largo la Foppa, Milano. Very close to the Moscova Metro Station

Itinerary

  • Begin your Milan Food Walking Tourfrom the historic district of Brera , which is one of the oldest and most fascinating neighbourhoods of Milan. It is an area full of beautiful art galleries, antique shops, restaurants and bars. The place is a confluence of old world charisma and the youthful downtown vibe of today.

    During the course of your walk, your English speaking guide will escort you to local shops where you will enjoy local delicacies prepared using century-old techniques. While you hop from one shop to another savouring authentic Italian food, your guide will tell you about the illustrious history of Milan and how it has transformed throughout the centuries. S/he will talk about the ancient canals called Navigli, which were once used for defense, irrigation and transportation purposes and now have transformed into a hub of Milan’s sprawling nightlife. Also, be in the know about Milan’s futuristic project called ‘PortaNuova,’ constructed to host the International Expo in 2015.

    Don’t let the walk and talk come on the way of your gastronomy while you gorge traditional Italian pastry, Traditional Milanese dish, Parma ham, Culatello, unique Mondeghilimeatballs, gelato et al. Learn about Milanese staple cuisine and how it has evolved over the years.
