The tour returns to the starting point
If you are lucky, you can watch the beach of Vernazza turn into a soccer field, with the local bars and restaurants contributing to the frenzy. At Monterosso, take pictures of the hills covered with vineyards and olive groves, the beaches, rugged cliffs and turquoise waters. This will truly be a photographic excursion in Italy!
The tour accompanied by an English speaking guide, you will be taken on a coach tour of Cinque Terre (meaning five lands).
Italy’s famous Cinque Terre are five perilously perched villages along a short stretch of cliffs in Liguria, at the top left of Italy’s boot. The Cinque Terre stretch of coastline is a National Park and a Protected Marine Area, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. There is a real sense of local identity even in the most tourist-crammed little square of Cinque Terre.
Arrive at Golfo dei Poeti and visit the characteristic village of Porto Venere. From here, take a boat trip to Monterosso al Mare alongside the famous Cinque Terre. It is one of the five villages of Cinque Terre in the province of La Spezia, part of the region of Liguria. Visit the beach of Monterosso that runs along most of the coastline. It is the only extensive sand beach in the Cinque Terre. A medieval tower ‘Aurora’, situated on the hills of Cappuccini separates the ancient part of the village from the more modern part. From Monterosso, take a train ride to the other Cinque Terre villages, which include:
• Vernazza: It is one of the five villages in Italy’s Cinque Terre region. Explore this beautiful fishing village on the Italian Riviera. Its harbour is overlooked by a ruined castle and an old church, and has a kids’ beach, outdoor restaurants and a bar on the edge of the castle.
• Corniglia: It is situated in the La Spezia province in Liguria and is perched on the top of a promontory, about 100 metres high. This beautiful place is surrounded on three sides by vineyards and terraces and the fourth side plunges into the sea. To reach Corniglia, you can ascend a flight of brick steps or take a vehicular road that leads to the village.
• Riomaggiore: It is a quaint village in the province of La Spezia in the Liguria region of Italy. This 13th century village is renowned for the wine produced in its vineyards. It is the southern most village of the five Cinque Terre villages. You can take a break in its small well-kept beach. From Riomaggiore, take a train ride back to La Spezia.
From La Spezia, you will be transferred back in a coach to Milan.

really nice tours .......have a good time......we see you again.....thanks...
There was a lot to do in a short period of time. Our guides did an excellent job of keeping us on schedule and still showing us the best sites. Taking a bus, a boat, and a...
Our tour to Cinque Terre departed from Milan, and although this was a 3 hour plus trip each way, this didn't matter when we arrived at Manarola, the first village of the tour. This village was excellent. From here we went by train to Monterosso and the by ferry to view the remaining villages from the sea. The tour allowed sufficient time to look around to visit the shops, have some lunch at one of the many local cafes and restaurants and take in the sights. We would recommend the trip to anyone who likes to explore the historic and picturesque coastline of Italy.
