If you are not staying in central Rome the tour also starts from Via G. Amendola 32.
You will be dropped in the vicinity of your hotel or Via G. Amendola 32.
Visit monuments that commemorate the grandeur of ancient Rome and celebrate the spirit of the Italian Renaissance - their magnificent facades bearing testimony to a long and fabulous history. Travel around the city’s ancient landmarks and take in the sights that are glorious reminders of Rome’s imperial past.
See masterpieces of the inspired genius of Michelangelo, the bustling Piazza Venezia, and the beautiful statue of the Moses by Michelangelo, as you tour the city and experience the splendour of imperial Rome.
You will also visit the Colosseum, a monument which has become the defining landmark of Rome.
You will be picked up from your centrally located hotel in Rome, you will travel by coach, accompanied by a guide.
The first stop is at the busy Piazza Venezia. All Rome’s roads lead to this large sunny square built in 1455. From here you will continue on foot, the tour reaches the grand and famous Piazza del Campidoglio designed by Michelangelo which provides a superb view of the Roman Forum.
Re-boarding the coach, the tour moves past the famous Circus Maximus, where chariot races were held. Then drive past the 12th century BC Pyramid of Caius Cestius - the tomb of a wealthy magistrate.
The next stop on the tour is at the ‘Church of St. Peter's in Chain’. Admire the beautiful statue of Moses by Michelangelo located in the Church of St. Peter's in Chain, from where it will take us 5 min to reach the symbol of the eternal city: The Colosseum .
Moving on, the coach makes its last stop to see the most famous icon of Rome. The Colosseum is one of the finest surviving examples of Roman architecture. View it from the inside and get acquainted with stories about the bloody past of the amphitheatre, tales of gladiators, mock sea battles and executions.
After the tour, the coach will be dropped you in the vicinity of your hotel or Via G. Amendola 32.

Knees and Shoulders must be covered for entrance to the Basilica.
Large bags/backpacks/suitcases are not permitted in the Colosseum and Roman Forum. Only very small bags are allowed. Please do not bring these items with you on the day of your tour as there are no cloakrooms at the Colosseum.
The confirmation voucher includes the local activity operator’s contact details and local telephone numbers at the destination. They will happily answer any logistical questions you may have.
Entrance to churches requires appropriate attire (no shorts, miniskirts or uncovered shoulder).
