Leave the bustling city of Reykjavik far behind and venture into the countryside to see the magical dance of the Northern Lights on a private tour. There are certain locations from where you can enjoy the best views of the Aurora Borealis and our Iceland Tour expert will guide you to the perfect place after studying the conditions all day.
Gaze up into the clear sky and enjoy the spectacle of the dazzling shades of greens, purples, and pinks of the Aurora Borealis that dance through the darkness. The Northern Lights, also known as the Aurora Borealis, are a spectacular natural phenomenon, often seen dancing around in fantastic colors across the Arctic sky.
The Northern Lights can be seen from late August to April and our expert guides who have spent years studying the skies and the optimal locations will try to ensure the best view possible.
Voucher information: You can show your voucher on your smartphone (But if you’d rather print a copy – that’s fine too!)
Please arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time.
Please note that the Northern Lights are natural phenomena and we, unfortunately, cannot promise you will see them. Their appearance depends upon atmospheric and weather conditions. A refund is not available if the northern lights tour goes ahead and no northern lights are seen.
A decision is taken daily at 5 pm, whether the tour will take place or not, depending on the Northern Lights forecast. To confirm whether the tour will take place, contact our local partner.
Icelandic winter nights can be very cold, we recommend dressing in warm layers and sturdy shoes.
