Overview

Visit Iceland’s largest natural lava cave that is located in West Iceland as you’re guided through the beautiful Borgarfjörður towards Húsafell. On the way, stop to admire the most powerful hot spring in Europe - Deildartunguhver and the magnificent Hraunfossar lava waterfalls.

After a break in Húsafell, head to the stunning Víðgelmir cave which is one of the largest natural lava caves in the world. Hailed as the mightiest of Iceland's caves, its diversity and grandeur is unrivalled. This lava cave tour makes for an unforgettable experience and you explore the depths of the earth just shy of 5250ft.

Behold the cave's amazing colors and lava formations that lurk in the depths. A 1.5 hour guided cave tour is included in the itinerary with safety equipment provided to you. After the excursion, unwind at the geothermal pool at Húsafell.

A new bus stop has been opened on Mýrargata, Bus stop 15 - Vesturbugt. This bus stop will be used for passengers staying at CenterHotel Grandi and Reykjavík Marina.
