It’s hard to stay away from the enticing variety of street foods in Mumbai – their delicious aromas make you salivate just by walking past a vendor. Pani puri is one such famous treat – a crispy shell filled with flavorful water, you pop it whole into your mouth and let the tastes explode! Or maybe a south Indian dosa is more to your liking. This crisp cross between a pancake and a crêpe has a divinely spicy potato and vegetable mix hidden inside.
After enjoying a few spicy treats, you’ll relish the chance to soothe your taste buds with some of Indian’s divinely sugary and syrupy desserts. How can you choose from the array of gulab jamun, ras malai, jalebi and rasgulla? They all look divine! Much better to have one of each and let the flavors chase their way across your mouth!
Once you’ve eaten your fill, you’ll head to a local watering hole and end the night with high spirits.

The culinary adventure begins at 1900h (7:00pm) when you make your way to the meeting point at the Taj Lands End hotel in Bandra. This queen of the suburbs has multiple food stalls tucked away in different corners, all of which are patronized by celebrities as well as everyday people.
Starting with a complimentary sampling of the famous Bombay toast, we will cover a range of cuisines from the South Indian dosa to the famous chat variety pani puri.
