    On this city tour of Warsaw, discover Poland’s history and culture as you explore the historic and iconic highlights of the city. Warsaw is located in the centre of the country and has been the national capital since 1586.

    After having been completely ruined by the Nazis during World War II, the city has been meticulously rebuilt according to old documents and drawings and it is a bustling European centre of culture, commerce, industry and politics. This tour includes some of Warsaw’s most interesting sights such as the Old Town with the Old Town Market Square, St. John’s Cathedral, the Barbican, the Royal Castle and the Castle Square, and the Royal Route which leads from the Royal Castle along famous streets of Warsaw.


    Your Warsaw City Tour from Krakow starts with pick up from your hotel in Krakow in a comfortable vehicle driven by an English speaking driver. The vehicle will take you to Warsaw City Centre where you will meet your English speaking guide.

    The guide will take you to all the historical and cultural monuments. You will visit the atmospheric borough Praga, and see the historical sights connected with the lives of Jews in Warsaw. Stroll down to Lazienki Park to see the monumental Chopin statue or the Palace on the Water.

    Walk down the Royal Route and see the historic center of the capital city The Old Town.You will see the the Royal Castle, the Barbican, the Presidential Palace, Warsaw University, the New City and the monument of the Warsaw Rising and the Jewish ghetto from WWII.

    Enjoy your lunch in a local restaurant and later you will get the chance to explore the city on your own. Before you start exploring the city individually, you’ll be given a special ‘welcome package’ with maps of the city and other necessary information so that you don't have any difficulty in finding places and major highlights if the city. After the break you will be picked up by our driver and dropped back to your hotel.
