Itinerary

  • This is a private tour and the guide will meet you at your hotel for a tour of Florence with a focus on the life and works of Michelangelo. You will be studying and admiring the masterpieces of Michelangelo, the most renowned painter, architect and sculptor of the Italian Renaissance.

    Walk to the Bargello sculpture museum, where your private guide will walk you around the works by the great master. See the statue of Bacchus, created when Michelangelo was only 21 years old and the beautiful marble Madonna and Child. Follow the career of Michelangelo and learn about his life and works as you are introduced to some of his greatest works.

    Following the Bargello, continue on foot to the Accademia gallery. After enjoying an in-depth discussion of David, your guide will take you to admire "Michelangelo’s Slaves". A series of breathtaking sculptures commissioned by Pope Julius II for his own personal tomb in Rome.

    The tour finishes inside the Accademia Gallery and you are free to stay and browse the works at your leisure.

In case of cancellation or amendment to the booking made, reservation fees for Accademia (15Euro p.p.) are not refundable
