Your tour will begin with a journey through the Tuscan countryside, perfect for photos. Once you arrive at Pisa, your tour guide will take you through one of Italy's most architecturally stunning towns, teaching you about its rich history.
Your guided tour starts in the Square of Miracles but also visits the Knights' Square and Historical Quarter. The best is however saved for last, your tour will finish with a climb to the top of the Tower itself!
This tour takes you on a journey through the picturesque Tuscan countryside to the historic city of Pisa, famous for its architectural beauty. You will board a coach with your multilingual tour guide.
Upon arrival in Pisa, your guide will take you on a thorough guided walking tour of Piazza dei Miracoli (The Square of Miracles) and its monuments, which exhibit some of the finest architecture in the world. The square is dominated by the Cathedral - a model of the distinctive Pisa Romanesque architecture - the celebrated Leaning Tower, and the round Pisa Baptistery, the largest baptistery in Italy.
Your guide will particularly focus on the Leaning Tower, one of the wonders of the world and Pisa's most famous landmark. You'll return to the Tower at the end of the tour for a look inside.
After visiting the Piazza dei Miracoli, your guide will lead you through the historical quarter, where you can admire the Church of San Sisto, one of the oldest churches in Pisa. After a pleasant guided walk you will reach Piazza dei Cavalieri - or Knights' Square - which was the political centre of Pisa in the middle Ages.
While walking through the downtown streets, you can admire the ancient house where Giacomo Leopardi, a famous Italian poet and scholar, lived. Then you will the Piazza Arcivescovado, where the Palazzo Vescovile, which used to be the Bishop's palace, is located. Your guided tour will end by the magnificent Leaning Tower, where you will enjoy a visit to the Tower's interior, climbing its 294-step spiral staircase.
In case of long queue, if you cannot visit the interior of the Cathedral, you will be offered a guided visit of Piazza dei Cavalieri.

During periods of increased inflow of visitors, despite our reservations the admission to the Tower may be subject to delays, mainly due to security reasons for which the access to the Tower is regulated according to the number of people inside it. Based on the above reasons any possible delay cannot be attributable to Caf Tour & Travel responsibility.

The visit lasts about 30 minutes - no extension is allowed.
Children under the age of 8 will not be admitted under any circumstances. Children between 8 and 12 years old must be accompanied by a responsible adult and held by the hand at all times.
Teenagers between 12 and 18 years of age are allowed on the Tower only if accompanied by a responsible adult.
