Overview

The aura of isolation that has surrounded the five small ancient coastal villages known as the ""Cinque Terre” has made this unique area of Italy very popular with visitors.

Take in the dramatic coastal views of the villages that lie between the mountain and the sea. See the mighty cliffs, explore the narrow alleys of the villages and taste the local wines.

Discover Manarola with its narrow alleys and pretty pastel squares. Stroll through the pretty village of Vernazza. With its large open harbour, castle and church, it conjures up all the magic of the Cinque Terre. Soak in the dramatic coastline framed against the hills. Visit Corniglia, another locale of considerable picturesque beauty, emblematic of the beauty of Cinque Terre.

Itinerary

Meet the tour at Cafe Paskowski in Piazza Repubblica at the scheduled time. You will be driven from Florence into Liguria, through Tuscany. Enjoy scenic views on a comfortable drive that offers great photo opportunities.

Your first stop will be in the Cinque Terre village of Manarola where you can take in the spectacular scenic beauty of the land and coast. One of the oldest villages of Cinque Terre, Manarola with its narrow alleys and pretty pastel squares epitomizes the beauty of the area. You can also sample some renowned local wine at a cozy wine bar (not included in the tour package).

After Manarola, the next stop is Vernazza. Meet your tour at a pre-arranged time for a shared boat ride to the village of Vernazza. During the boat ride, feast your eyes on the dramatic coastline from the water, framed against the hills. Arguably the most picturesque of the five villages, you can spend time at Vernazza strolling through the pretty village and exploring its large open harbor, castle and church. Enjoy a relaxing lunch (not included in the tour package) at one of the open-air restaurants that lines the waterfront or wander through the back streets for impressive views along the coast.

After Vernazza, you will be driven to Corniglia, another locale of considerable picturesque beauty. After the tour, you will be driven back to the original point of departure. You can make your own way back to the hotel or continue sightseeing on your own.
