Horse riding in Tuscany is a unique opportunity to explore the Tuscan countryside in a most delightful way. You will be taken from Florence into the Chianti region, where most of the famous wines are produced, you’ll be given a lesson to get acquainted with the horse before leaving for the ride.
Board a comfortable, air-conditioned minivan and enjoy a half an hour’s drive to the Florentine Chianti wine region where the world famous wines are produced.. Enjoy the lovely ride as you leave behind the bustling city life and drive through dense forests, vineyards and olive groves.
Once there, you’ll be given a safety briefing and will get acquainted with the horse before leaving for the ride. Riding hats or helmets will also be provided. Even beginner can go for this tour and previous riding experience is not essential. Gallop through open fields and forested trails, breathe in the fresh air and admire the picturesque countryside landscape.
Enjoy a guided tour of an ancient olive oil mill in a noble estate, a unique mix of ancient and modern setting, and learn about the processes involved in producing olive oil. A taste of their gourmet olive oil will reveal all the incredible flavors that their passion and work generate.
Then explore a boutique winery, visiting its small ancient cellar and modern workspace where incredible wines are produced. Learn their peculiar approach to wine making, that has won them many a wine award.
Enjoy a delicious typical Tuscan lunch in a restaurant, soak in the tranquility of your surrounds, and taste some of the incredible wines of the winery you just visited.
You will then be taken back to Florence by a minivan.

The horseback ride is easy and relaxed and does not require previous experience. Please do not expect to trot or canter.
