Florence’s town hall - the Palazzo Vecchio is an imposing building situated in the Piazza Signoria. This grand building has been the political centre of Florence for centuries.
The old city centre is an ideal place to take a stroll and admire the Franciscan Church of Santa Croce, once the oldest church in the city.

The tour ends inside the Uffizi Gallery
Meet your guide at 2:30pm at the meeting point, from where you will board a coach for your tour of Florence. The afternoon starts with a drive to Fiesole, a delightful Etruscan town set in the hills overlooking Florence and the Arno Valley. The drive affords spectacular views of Florence from a wonderful vantage point. The drive from Florence to the picturesque village of Fiesole, nestled in the Tuscan Hills, provides wonderful photo opportunities of the Florence Duomo. Returning to the city center, you will enjoy a walking tour which includes the Franciscan Church of Santa Croce. The church is a burial ground of Florence’s most illustrious citizens including Michelangelo, Machiavelli, Galileo and Rossini. Continue to Piazza Signoria from where you can admire the imposing exterior of the Palazzo Vecchio, the imposing town hall of Florence. Piazza della Signoria is considered as one of the most beautiful squares in Italy and was the scene of many historical events in the 14th century. Your last stop of the day is the Uffizi Gallery, home to works of masters such as Titian, Botticelli, Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci to name a few. The Uffizi Gallery is Florence’s premier gallery and houses the world’s greatest Italian renaissance art. Enjoy a guided tour of the museum, after which can stay and explore on your own. The tour ends at 6:00pm inside the Uffizi Gallery. You can spend more time in in the museum after the guided tour. Uffizi gallery is open till 06:50pm.
Galleria del Uffizi is closed on Mondays. The tour will instead visit the Museum of Palazzo Vecchio.

This tour operates with a minimum of 2 people (English speaking) or 4 people (Spanish, French, German & Italian Speaking). Should this minimum number not be met for your chosen tour every effort will me made to move you to another date, should this not be possible we will offer you a full refund.
Your tour group will go in the group entrance. While there may still be a short wait it will be far shorter than when joining the regular queue.
Piazzale Montelungo can be easily reached as usual from Piazza della Stazione (Station Square) through various access routes.
