Savor the best local produce Tuscany has to offer during A Taste of Tuscany: An Authentic Dining Experience in Florence!

With A Taste of Tuscany: An Authentic Dining Experience in Florence, you’ll hit the town’s best restaurants and wine bars for a sampling of traditional Tuscan fare! Gobble up the cured meats and delicious cheeses that have made the region famous. Enjoy the hearty, robust flavor of the local foccacia during your Florence trip. Slurp up some of the most authentic soups in the region. And, chow down on the meat-rich entrées for which Tuscany is known! Then, wash it all down with a glass of wine that was made just a few miles away. If you want to eat what the locals are eating, then A Taste of Tuscany is what to do in Florence!

Meet your friendly, local foodie guide in the charming Cosimo Ridolfi in the piazza  for a quick orientation of the Oltrarno neighborhood. You’ll learn about what differentiates Tuscan food from that of other regions and how the local dishes went from the “food of the poor” to one of the most celebrated cuisines in the world! Sit at a local enoteca, or wine bar, for a very special glass of wine (or two) to accompany various plates filled with appetizers. Munch on some crostinis before moving on to another local restaurant for a traditional soup starter and the main course. During your Florence tour, you’ll enjoy dishes made from local meats, cheeses, vegetables, olive oil, and, of course, some Tuscan truffles. And, as long as you have room, you can take one last little walk to taste some of the best gelato on Earth. If you’re not sure where to eat in Tuscany, then this is one of the best things to do in Florence!
