For the duration of the pass you will have access to top museums of the city including Ancient National Gallery, Ancient Museum, Bodemuseum, New Museum and Pergamon Museum. These museums are UNESCO World Heritage sites.

When you buy your card, you have the option of 72 hours unlimited free travel in Berlin, or 72 hours travel in Berlin and Potsdam combined. Both options enable you to tailor your own itinerary.
The Berlin and Potsdam version of the card provides excellent value for families as it is valid for up to 3 children for every paying adult.
The Berlin Welcome Card and Museum Island entitles you to discounts up to 50% on a huge range of attractions and services in Berlin and Potsdam.
There are two type of Berlin Welcome Card.
The AB CARD is valid for the AB fare zones in Berlin
The ABC CARD (Berlin & Potsdam) is valid for fare zones of the Berlin-Brandenburg public transport network (which includes Potsdam). Your travel-ticket covers city railway (S-Bahn), underground (U-Bahn), bus and tram services, as well as local train services, but excludes sightseeing tours and special routes.
The zones A and B each comprise of the original city area, and the outer boundary of zone B is almost identical with the city border. Visitors of Berlin arriving from the Airport Berlin-Schönefeld require the Berlin WelcomeCard with fare zone ABC for unlimited use of the public transport services. The travel zone Berlin C stretches 10 to 15 km into the surrounding vicinity, measured from the city border. Season lines, special lines and journeys with the Deutsche Bahn are excluded.
Your 72 hours of free travel starts from the time the ticket is validated.
With this version of the Berlin Welcome Card you get free access to the 5 museums that make up Museum Island. These are:

You will also receive a guide which is to be presented when claiming reductions. You receive the guide when you present your Berlin WelcomeCard ticket (purchased from a ticket machine) in the Berlin Tourist Infos as well as at the sales points of the BVG and S-Bahn.

The Welcome Card Berlin + Potsdam (ABC) fare zone ticket is valid for up to three children under the age of 15 for free with every paying adult.
The confirmation voucher includes the local activity operator’s contact details and local telephone numbers at the destination. They will happily answer any logistical questions you may have.
The travel element of the pass includes city railway (S-Bahn), underground (U-Bahn), bus and tram services, plus local train services (excluding sightseeing tours and special lines)
