  • Overview & Itinerary
Overview “A true artist is not one who is inspired, but one who inspires others.” – Salvador Dalí

No one would claim Dalí wasn’t a true artist because he was so clearly a master of multiple art forms. A painter, sculptor, photographer, and provocateur, Dalí continues to inspire millions with his puzzling masterpieces and even more puzzling public persona. And, you can see the fruits of his forays into various fields at Dalí – The Exhibition at Potsdamer Platz!

Perhaps the most well-rounded Dalí exhibit on Earth, The Exhibition at Potsdamer Platz displays Dalí’s woodcuts, lithographs, etchings, writings, film sequences, sculptures, paintings, and more! But, this isn’t just an exhibition of Dalí’s art. This is an exhibition on Dalí, himself! You’ll be invited to view documentary films about the artist and his creative process. It’s an inside look at one of the most polarizing public icons of a generation and his lifework!

Prominently featured are Dalí’s first and now famous lithograph, Don Quixote de la Mancha, and the woodcuts he created to illustrate Dante’s The Divine Comedy. The latter were rejected due to public outcry in Italy against a Spaniard illustrating an edition commemorating the Italian poet’s birth. Regardless, the results are beautiful!

So, fire up the Rolls Royce, pack it full of cauliflower, and drive into the mind of the most famous surrealists of all time!
