Overview

Step into the shoes of an artist for a day as Nicola Tenderini, the famous Venetian watercolors painter shows you the most romantic corners of Venice while teaching you how to paint its picturesque landscapes and views.

Meet the artist at his workshop for a glimpse into his artistic life before embarking on a journey to interesting spots where you can create your own personal artwork using watercolors.

The first step will be the study of the sketch, the essential starting point for a good painting. Later you will transition to color, discovering how light is a color as well and the wonderful effects it creates.

During the lesson, the teacher will reveal the secrets to obtain the best pictorial effects of water reflection, color shades between clouds and sky or the details of lights and shadows using the great technique of watercolors.

About the artist: Nicola is Venetian artist, specializing in watercolors art and runs a small shop in the heart of the historical town (few steps from Accademia Bridge).

He’s got his master’s degree at the “Accademia di Belle Arti” in Venice and has participated in many projects in important Venetian palaces and monuments such as the Fenice Theater, Bauer Hotel and many others.
