Visit the delightful island of Torcello, home to Venice’s first cathedral. The cathedral, Santa Fosca, is a masterpiece with its mosaics and Byzantine structure. Established between the 5th and 6th centuries, Torcello boasts ornate palaces and churches including the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta.

It is suggested to take the public boat lines number 3, 4.1 or 4.2 for transportation.
