Overview

Sign up for an action-packed day of sightseeing with a trip to the 3 charming islands of Murano, Burano, and Torcello, situated on the Venetian Lagoon.

Watch skilled artisans at work at a glass factory in Murano, see historical cathedrals in Torcello, and check out gorgeous handmade lace in Burano.

The first stop on this excursion, hop off the boat at Murano to visit a glass factory and see the masters at work, as they have been doing for centuries. After that, you have an hour to explore the quaint island on your own.

Next visit the island of Burano, famous for the colorful fishermen's houses and for the traditional handmade laces. Admire the charming and vibrant houses straight out of a postcard. You can also enjoy lunch (at your own expense) on the island. You have 2 hours free time on this island which coincides with a lunch time.

The third stop is the island of Torcello. The island is the first to be inhabited in the Venetian lagoon and still shows traces of its origins. With 1 hour to spare, explore attractions like the Basilica di Santa Maria Assunta with its Venetian-Byzantine mosaics, admire picturesque views of nearby Burano from the bell tower, or visit the Ponte del Diavolo.

Return to San Marco in the evening. For customers departing to train station, hop on to the shuttle service that will drop you to the train station with arrival at 6pm approx.
