Unveil Sydney’s colonial past and embark on a journey through Sydney from 1788 till today. A one-of-a-kind experience that starts with a city tour and then takes the waters. See its world famous beaches, bohemian suburbs, iconic landmarks, historic colonial settlements and hidden beach and spots. Top it up with a typical Aussie lunch at Watson Bay and at the end of the tour you will say – ‘This was the best day ever!’
Here’s the plan…
Your city tour starts from Australia’s oldest suburb, The Rocks where your guide will tell you about the first European settlers. You will travel past Sydney’s iconic landmarks and charming neighbourhoods en route to Watsons Bay and Bondi Beach. Discover the lively street culture, entertainment and shopping opportunities of Paddington, Chinatown, Darling Harbour, and Australia’s largest urban development, Barangaroo, before heading to Circular Quay to begin your Sydney Harbour Cruise.
You will board your fast boat from Circular Quay and cruise up-close alongside Sydney’s iconic landmarks such as the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. When it is time for lunch, you will get off at Watsons Bay and relish a typical Aussie lunch at the Beach Club at the famous Watsons Bay Hotel. After lunch, you will walk to the imposing cliffs of The Gap from where you can take in splendid view of the Pacific Ocean.
Next, you get back to the boat and cruise past historical sites, naval dockyards and luxurious waterfront homes of the rich and famous. The onboard guide will give interesting insights into the local Aussie culture and how the Sydney Harbour is a crucial part of the lives of the locals. If lucky, you may also spot resident penguins, seals or dolphins. Fingers crossed!
This Sydney Harbour boat cruise includes two shore stops – first on the secluded Store Beach where you can take a stroll or enjoy a swim, and second visit a historic Quarantine Station and museum for afternoon tea.
