Get a different perspective on one of the world’s most iconic buildings on the Sydney Opera House Tour. Expert guides will lead you around the interior of this architectural marvel. Designed by the Danish architect Jorn Utzon, the Sydney Opera House was 13 years in the making because of differences between Utzon and the Australian government. This is your chance to truly get up-close to this iconic building!
Here is the plan...
Your guide will bring to life the amazing stories behind this miracle of architecture and engineering. Working with new, rich audio-visual components, where images are projected onto the fabric of the building, your guide will take you on an exhilarating journey, engrossing you in a story to rival any opera plot with its dramatic twists and turns. Some 1,500 performances, from opera to circus, rock and cabaret, are staged each year to audiences of around 1.5 million.
The tour ends in the Box Office Foyer. At the end of the tour, you will have the opportunity to purchase a photo memento in an exclusive Sydney Opera House memory book. In this book, you will also be given access to unlimited digital copies of your exclusive tour photos.
Voucher information: You can show your voucher on your smartphone (But if you’d rather print a copy – that’s fine too!)
Always keep a photo ID handy for security checks.
Access to individual theatres is subject to availability and may be limited due to performances, rehearsals, and other events.
You may have to climb approximately 200 steps; we recommend comfortable shoes. Don't forget your camera!
Well worthwhile, all of the added details and seeing the inside was great.
Brilliant informative tour.
Lots of steps.
