  • Overview

Enjoy a fun road trip to the Southern Highlands which is a local's haven in Sydney and tailor your itinerary to include more winery visits or hikes! Take advantage of the complimentary hotel pick up and start your journey to Berrima, a small town rich in Australian history where you get to indulge in a gourmet morning tea or locally brewed coffee and freshly baked Australian treats. Sample scones or perhaps freshly baked lamingtons.

Next visit Artemis Winery for a comprehensive wine tasting of locally produced wines including an award winning Pinot Noir, the grape the region is famous for. Soon it’ll be time to stop for lunch at Biota Dining - a small local restaurant using produce and serving wine from the immediate area where you can also chat with the chef and gain insight into Aussie cuisines! After lunch, your next stop is a privately run, completely organic farm to show you directly where the delicious produce you've been indulging in has come from. Speak to the farmers, taste the produce and truly feel connected to the area you are exploring.

You will have choices for your final stop this afternoon. It could be one more winery – the locals love Mt Ashby Estate or Southern Highlands Winery, depending on the day of the week. If you would like to get a bit active, a small hike at Fitzroy Falls could also be a perfect end to a perfect day. There is also Dirty Janes Antique precinct, which could be yet another perfect end to your day. The choice is completely yours!
