This specially designed photography tour will help you to discover and experience a city through the eyes of a local photographer.
Your guide-cum-photographer has in-depth local knowledge, a passion for their city and for the art of photography. So bring your camera and be prepared to walk, shoot and click.

The tour starts from Opera House at the bottom of the steps (on the Harbour Bridge side).
Please report at the meeting point 15 minutes before the start time. This is mandatory to allow time for pre-departure briefing.
The tour ends at Circular Quay
The tour starts at the Opera House at the bottom of the steps (on the Harbour Bridge side).
You will be accompanied by your English speaking photographer/guide, Greg Dickins, who specializes in travel photography and is well versed with the attractions of the city.
Walk along the harbour in Sydney and admire the spectacular view of ships, ferries and boats.
See the Opera House, one of the most recognisable images of the modern world and one of the most photographed.
Stroll through the Botanical Gardens and photograph the rich species of flora and fauna.
See the shipping terminals and the Rocks, the historic precinct. Traditionally the home of the Indigenous Cadigal people, this rocky sandstone ledge known as The Rocks is where members of the First Fleet stepped ashore on 26 January 1788 and British settlement of Australia was first established.
Photograph the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Fondly known by the locals as the 'Coathanger', the Sydney Harbour Bridge is the world's largest (but not the longest) steel arch bridge with the top of the bridge standing 134 metres above the harbour.
At the end of the session your photographer-guide will review some of the photos taken (if you are carrying a digital camera). You will have learnt the basics of composition, the importance of light in photography, how to take balanced and attractive images, and simple techniques to take "creative" images.
The tour concludes at the Circular Quay.
Please call the activity operator at least 24 hours prior to start of the tour to reconfirm the departure details.
Tokyo highs, see the Autumn colours!
Give thanks & keep on trekkin'!
