There will also be the chance to take an optional ride (payable direct) on the Scenic Railway or Cableway or Skyway.
This tour also takes you to the Featherdale Wildlife Park which is home to a range of native Australian wildlife including Koalas, Kangaroos and Wallabies. While here you will be able to have your photograph taken cuddling a Koala – a must do in Australia!
You will be picked up from your hotel in an air-conditioned coach and taken for a sightseeing tour of Blue Mountains and Featherdale Wildlife Park. A guide will accompany you on this tour.
Start the day with a tour of the Blue Mountains, a UNESCO World Heritage-listed National Park. This rugged and beautiful region forms part of the Great Dividing Range, linking tropical north to temperate south, while dividing coastal cities from the vast Outback.
Stop for an easy walk to visit the Echo Point Lookout which looks out over the famous Three Sisters, an impressive rock formation.
Arrive at Scenic World, you will have some time at leisure to explore; during this time a range of optional Blue Mountain experiences (payable direct) will be offered - Scenic Railway and Scenic Cableway (cost not included in the tour price). These are both great ways to see the steep valleys and canyons of the Blue Mountains.
The next stop on your Blue Mountains tour is Leura village, a delightful blend of groomed gardens and quaint shops. Arrive here for lunch (at own expense) and then enjoy free time to wander the streets of Leura.
On the way back to Sydney you will stop at Featherdale Park and have your photo taken with a cuddly koala. The Park is home to a plethora of native Australian wildlife such as kangaroos, wombats, dingoes and cute little fairy penguins.
