Skip-the-Line: Vatican Museum Ticket or Guided Tour
Combine your Rome hop-on, hop-off day with a Vatican Museum ticket or a guided tour, including visit to the Sistine Chapel.
Your skip-the-line Vatican Museum ticket is valid for entry any time between 9:00am and 3:00pm. After your visit to the Vatican Museum, you may exit the venue and then visit the Sistine Chapel. You can redeem your voucher on board the bus. If you wish to visit the Vatican Museum first please redeem your voucher at the City Sightseeing Italy Vatican Visitor Centre located at Largo del Colonnato, 5 (near St Peters square).
If you choose the Vatican Museum guided tour, You save a lot of time(around 45min) as you skip the long queues to the Sistine Chapel and your guide takes you directly to the chapel from the Vatican Museums. Your guide will also share interesting anecdotes and the history of the artworks that you will see during the tour. We highly recommend this option as this ensures your hassle free and personalized experience also is exclusive to our customers only
You will be overwhelmed as you enter the museum and visit the majestic Sistine Chapel in the Apostolic Palace, the official residence of the Pope. Every corner of the chapel is decorated; with mosaics on the floor and intricate frescoes on the wall painted by the early Renaissance artists. Feast your eyes by looking at the luminous paintings on the ceiling and behind the altar painted by Michelangelo, one of the greatest artists of all time. It is a moving experience to see the enormity of the Michelangelo's Creation frescoes on the barrel-vaulted ceiling with the figures exuding strength and elegance. Contrary to the optimism and elegance of the ceiling, Michelangelo’s Last Judgement, which he painted on the back wall a decade later, is darker and pessimistic.

We enjoyed our tour....
Carla Ocay, Norway, 26/Jan/2018very good tour, well organized and friendly staff....
Carlos Arrata, Ecuador, 15/Jan/2018We originally booked the Rome Hop-On, Hop-Off Bus and the Vatican Museums Skip-the-line ticket. It was raining, so we paid the difference to upgrade for the Vatican Museums...
Vinay Rangnekar, United States, 08/Jan/2018Not easy to get to the tour guide shop and meeting point.
That said Francesco our guide was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic and I would definitely recommend you do the trip round the Vatican using the guided tour option. If the guide was as good as Francesco you will see why. He deserved his drink at the end.
Excellent Gude for Vatican
Excellent value for money.
