    Complete your tour with an afternoon of perfect tranquility at a geothermal spa. Sink into the reviving waters of the Blue Lagoon, a secluded natural paradise surrounded by beautiful scenery where you can enjoy enriching spa treatments.

    You have two Blue Lagoon Admission options to choose from -The Blue Lagoon Standard Bathing Package that includes entrance to The Blue Lagoon spa or you can opt for the Blue Lagoon Comfort Bathing Package, which includes silica mud mask, use of towel, 1st drink of your choice and algae mask.

    Itinerary

    Your tour begins with a pick-up by bus from your Reykjavik hotel or guesthouse where you’ll meet your English-speaking guide.

    Your bus will take you to Reykjavik harbor. Board a boat bound for Faxaflói Bay, where all nature of magnificent marine life inhabit the emerald waters. The area is home to a unique variety of the Minke Whale, the Humpback, the Harbor Porpoise, and the White-Beaked Dolphin.

    Scan the horizon for massive and incomparable whales, which epitomize poetry in motion when they arch themselves up from the water to breach. Hopefully you’ll see dolphins and porpoises dallying playfully by the side of the boat.

    Keep one eye trained on the wide waters, and another on the sky, as the Puffin, Arctic Tern, Gannet, and many varieties of Gull dance among the clouds. Your whale-watching trip will last between 3 hours. The entrance to the Whale Exhibition Centre is free of charge for Whale Watching passengers.

    You will be picked up from whale watching at the port around 1230h (12:30pm) and departure to Blue Lagoon at 1300h (1:00pm). After a short 45 minutes drive, you will reach Blue Lagoon around 1345h (1:45pm).

    Arrive at this magical geothermal spa, which is situated in the youngest lava field in West Iceland. Bathe in soothing blue-green waters as steam rises in spectral wisps from the surface. The warm water comes from the nearby geothermal power plant of Svartsengi and averages a pleasant 40°C (104°F). It is rich in minerals and bathing in the Blue Lagoon is said to alleviate skin conditions such as psoriasis.

    You would be able to avoid long queues at the entrance of Blue Lagoon as this tour includes your admission to blue lagoon which save time and you enjoy trouble free entrance. .

    You have Two Blue Lagoon options to choose from - Standard Admission Bathing Package or Comfort Admission Bathing Package.

    You can opt for the Standard Admission Bathing Package, which includes the visitor pass as well as the entrance fee to the Blue Lagoon spa. You can bathe in the lagoon, enjoy sauna and use the changing facilities.

    You also have the option to choose the Comfort Admission Bathing Package which includes all the elements of the standard package and additional benefits, which are as follows:

    •Get a large and comfortable towel. You must return the towel after bathing.
    •Enjoy a drink of your choice at the Blue Café or the Lagoon Bar.
    •Silica mud and algae mask

    At the tour's end you will be dropped in Reykjavik.

    Pick-up is available from major hotels and guesthouses in the greater Reykjavik area. Pick-up services not provide from private addresses.

    Viewing of whales is never 100% guaranteed however our local partner's expertise affords you the best possible chance.

    Transfers from Blue Lagoon to Reykjavik are at 11:00, 12:00, 13:00, 14:00,15:00 16:00, 17:00, 18:00, 19:00, and 21:00. Please inform the bus driver which drop off time you plan to take.

    In case you choose the bathing option, the exact entrance time to Blue Lagoon will be confirmed after the booking is made.

    Additional info

    The confirmation voucher includes the local activity operator’s contact details and local telephone numbers at the destination. They will happily answer any logistical questions you may have.
