Back by popular demand: Its been missing from Local Iceland Tours for a while but we’re now delighted to be able to offer Blue Lagoon tickets again!
Enjoy the perfect tranquility at the Blue Lagoon, a world-renowned geothermal spa, under the midnight sun as you head to the spot during late afternoon or in the evening.
Set in a landscape of black basalt, the Blue Lagoon has warm milky-turquoise waters rich in healing minerals. Treat yourself to one of the most blissful experiences in Iceland – the incredible Blue Lagoon spa.
Skip the long queues and head straight to the lagoon with the bathing access. You have the Luxury Retreat Spa, which includes a private changing suite and unlimited access to both the Retreat Lagoon and the Blue Lagoon. Pamper yourself with complimentary skin care amenities and sip on a free drink of your choice.
In case of optional hotel transfers: After pick up from Reykjavik, drive across the harshly beautiful terrain of Iceland to the Blue Lagoon, where you’ll spend a day awash in serenity. It is a unique geothermal spa situated in the youngest lava field in west Iceland. Once there you are treated to a few hours of perfect peace - walk through the enchanted lava fields that surround the lagoon, put on a silica mud mask, bathe in the steamy blue-green waters, relax in a geothermal steam bath or release the stress from your shoulders under a soothing waterfall.
About the Supplier: Destination Blue Lagoon is the official transport partner of the Blue Lagoon and offers comfortable bus services from Reykjavik and Keflavik Airport to the world-renowned geothermal spa.
No need to print! You can show your voucher on your smartphone or other devices. (But if you’d rather print a copy – that’s fine too!)
Optional hotel transfers: Pick up is always one and a half hour before the time booked at the Blue Lagoon. For example, if you book for 6pm, you will be picked up at 4:30pm.
When you arrive at the Blue Lagoon, you will receive a wristband, which is a key to your changing room locker and your in-water credit card. You can use it to purchase drinks and refreshments anywhere in the spa area.
You will receive a private locker. Please store all your valuables - jewellery, shoes, cameras, etc.- in the locker and be sure to check that your locker is properly locked before you walk away. The authorities at Blue Lagoon is not responsible for any lost valuables.
The water in the Blue Lagoon is rich in silica and may make your stiff for few days. Please apply conditioner before entering the lagoon. Complimentary conditioner is available in the shower area.
Hot water might lead to dehydration; hence drink plenty of water during your visit.
If you plan to wear your prescription glasses during your bath, do not submerge it in the water as the silica can damage the lenses. Please avoid contact lenses in the water.
The Blue Lagoon has a minimum age limit of 2 years. Children aged 2 to 13 are welcome to enjoy the Blue Lagoon - free of charge - with their family or guardian. However, it is mandatory for children aged 2 to 8 to wear inflatable armbands (aka, ‘floaties’, ‘water wings’) in the lagoon. These are provided free of charge. Also be aware that each guardian is only allowed to supervise two children under the age of 10.
The confirmation voucher includes the local activity operator’s contact details. They’re a nice bunch, and will happily answer any logistical questions you may have. Please give them a call at least 24 hours before your organised activity to reconfirm.
For safety, please keep an eye on your children at all times.
