From here you will board a climate-controlled coach and set out on towards the St. Louis Cemetery No. 1. On arrival at the oldest surviving cemeteries in New Orleans, get down from your coach and set out on a 1-hour walking tour of the Saint Louis Cemetery No. 1 in the southern state of Louisiana. Saint Louis Cemetery was built in 1789 and was said to be the burial place for the Creoles. Walk through St. Louis Cemetery No. 1, the site of the classic movie ‘Easy Rider,’ and listen to your professional English-speaking guide recount the background of the famous and infamous people who are buried there. He will also tell you all about the evolution of Voodoo - which is still practiced today – and about the unique above ground burial customs and the tombs of various "societies here.
