You will be picked up from your hotel at the scheduled time in the morning. Enjoy an exciting hydrofoil ride to the super VIP Capri Island, an island in Italy’s Bay of Naples famed for its picturesque beauty and rugged landscape. Ride the famous “funicular” to reach the “Piazzetta” and stroll through the shopping streets, full of famous Italian fashion brands and local craftsman shops. Experience the fresh breeze, panoramic sea views and discover why Capri Island is considered one of the most charming and fashionable places in Italy. Discover the Gardens of Augustus, comprising of a series of panoramic flower-decked terraces overlooking the Faraglioni on the one side and the Bay of Marina Piccola and Via Krupp on the other. Your guide will keep up a lively and fascinating commentary on the history and legends of this picturesque island as you experience its beauty and rejuvenating air. After a savoury lunch, sail back to Naples port, from where the driver will take you to the ruins of Pompeii, a UNESCO heritage site that was once a thriving Roman city that met its cataclysmic end after the volcanic eruption of Mt Vesuvius in 79 AD. Explore the excavation site which was buried under volcanic debris for over 1600 years. Pompeii was once a bustling city with a huge theatre for gladiatorial fights, temples of worship, luxurious Roman villas decorated with brightly painted frescoes and marvelous mosaics and highly mechanized waterway systems. See the Roman bakery, the Temple of Apollo, the Roman Forum, an ancient supermarket and an old cemetery. See the daunting plastic death casts of people who were caught in the eruption. At the end of the tour, you will be driven back to Naples and dropped off to your hotel in the evening.
