Stonehenge Express (Next Day):
The next day, meet at Victoria Coach Station and travel from London to Stonehenge with our half-day express service. The Stonehenge is a UNESCO World Heritage site and dates back by nearly 5,000 years. Situated amidst rural English pastures, Stonehenge served as a pagan site of worship, an astronomical clock, and a Bronze Age burial ground. Tour the site with an Evan Evans exclusive interactive map and audio guide available in 10 languages and ponder at the significance of the 40 ton stones. What were they intended for: an observatory of the moon, a temple to the sun, or perhaps an elaborate cemetery?
On leaving Stonehenge, you will return back to London and dropped at Victoria Coach Station.
Please call the activity operator at least 24 hours prior to start of the tour to confirm departure details.
When the Changing of Guard ceremony does not take place, we will visit the Horse Guards Parade.
The Stonehenge Express must be taken on the next consecutive day following Morning London.
Please note that the Stonehenge Express is not an escorted tour - you are issued with an Audio Guide at Stonehenge. Lunch is not included in the tour but there will be time for a refreshment break.
