Touch down inside the Hualapai Reservation and explore this glorious unspoilt area in a motor coach shuttle. Enjoy unforgettable views of the Canyon and see the culture of the Wild West from the Native American perspective.
If you like, you can also opt to go on the sensational Skywalk, a glass bridge jutting out from the Canyon's edge. It's like walking on air 4000 feet above the valley floor. A unique experience and one you'll remember for ever.
On your flight back, you'll have another chance to enjoy panoramic views of the extraordinary scenery of this desert land.
You will be picked up from your hotel in Las Vegas and driven in an air-conditioned vehicle to the North Las Vegas Air Terminal to check in for your flight.
You will fly in a comfortable fixed-wing Dornier plane (giving better views than a helicopter) seeing fabulous panoramas of the striking Arizona landscape including Lake Mead. This vast man-made lake, 110 miles in length, is held in check by the massive Hoover Dam.
You will land at the Grand Canyon West Rim. This wilderness area outside the main National Park is one of the best places to view the stunning Grand Canyon. Here, in the Native American Hualapai Reservation, man has had little impact on the Canyon's natural beauty. No crowds, no guardrails and stupendous views as far as you can see.
You will board a motor coach for an approx. 2.5 hours tour of the area. Highlights will probably include the Indian Village with authentic dwellings and The Hualapai Ranch, a Western theme town with horseback and wagon rides.
After all this adventure you are sure to be hungry. Enjoy Boxed lunch before catching your flight back to town.
Your have the option to add a SkyWalk ticket to your day. SkyWalk is a cleverly constructed plexiglass walkway that extends out into space from the Canyon edge. With nothing but glass under your feet, it's like walking on 'air' 4,000 feet above the Canyon floor and the Colorado River. It is an extraordinary sensation with 360 degree, fantastic views.
At the end of your trip, you will be dropped back at your hotel in Las Vegas.
After your Skywalk you will have lunch before boarding your flight back to Las Vegas.
Please call the activity operator at least 24 hours prior to start of the tour to confirm your pick up details. Please confirm the pick-up point and time carefully with your activity operator. Hotels in Vegas are huge and you can miss the pick-up if not standing at the right place. The hotel pick-up is at least 90 minutes prior to the scheduled start time, as a lot of formalities and pre flight check in etc needs to be taken care of
