Overview

Break into the Las Vegas food culture with a Downtown Las Vegas Lip Smacking Foodie Tour!

Become part of Downtown Las Vegas’s thrilling renaissance and exciting food scene by visiting chef-driven restaurants bursting with personality and flavor! Your expert guide will provide an insider’s view of Downtown’s past, present, and future, while you take in significant Las Vegas landmarks and enjoy farm-to-table, artisanal fare.

Nabbing a seat in Las Vegas is as hard as snagging a royal flush at the poker table. Thankfully, your experienced guide will escort you right into the nationally acclaimed Carson Kitchen so you don’t get stuck waiting in line. Founded by the late-great Kerry Simon, known as the celebrity “rock ‘n’ roll’’ chef, Carson Kitchen utilizes an open kitchen. So, you can catch all the action up close and personal. Then, enjoy Americana dishes elevated by whimsy and garden-fresh, seasonal ingredients.

Next, at Therapy, you’ll feel rejuvenated by the contemporary comfort food served in a chic, industrial setting. It's the perfect backdrop for indulging in chicken and Red Velvet waffle sliders, Devil’s on Horseback reinterpreted with bacon-wrapped dates stuffed with truffled goat cheese, and signature baked ricotta gnudi finished with truffled fig jam and roasted almonds.

Then, at 7th & Carson, Chef Gregg Fortunato takes your palate on a wild ride through land, air, and sea with his menu of clever, shareable plates. Fortunato makes use of the wood-fired oven to infuse dishes with delicious smoke and char. And, with artsy, tiled tables and a brick-lined patio full of greenery, it’s a restaurant made for socializing.

Finally, you can take a stroll through the unique Container Park, where shipping containers have been converted into swanky boutiques, bustling restaurants, and a spirited venue for free, live music.

Between bites, you’ll quench your thirst at the clandestine Downtown Cocktail Room, which Food & Wine singled out as one of its “Best Cocktails Bars in the U.S.’’ With the feel of an urbane New York speakeasy, DCR was Vegas’ first craft cocktail bar. It boasts 51 seasonal menus with some of the most creative hand-crafted cocktails around. Guests will receive a choice of signature cocktail, red or white wine, local beer or soft drink.

For a lip smacking foodie, the Downtown Lip Smacking Tour is one of the best things to do in Las Vegas!
