Overview

This action-packed full-day trip is a Mayan rainforest adventure like no other that transports you back to a primeval wilderness that will have your heart pumping and adrenalin flowing.

The fun begins with an exhilarating jungle crossing in Mercedez Benz Unimogs, massive 4 x 4 vehicles. Take in the sights and sounds of the jungle as you bump along to Rancho San Felipe, a small Maya community where the Nohoch Nah Chich cenote system is located. This is the second-longest underground river system in the world and it is here that you will undertake an unforgettable snorkeling adventure into the fresh waters of the underground rivers. Swim deep inside the caverns and you can observe stunning stalactite and stalagmite formations above and below the crystal-clear water. Enter a dry cenote and participate in a real blessing, a ceremony conducted by the shaman of the community and the beautiful aroma of the copal incense.

Take a break for a traditional Maya lunch and enjoy the hospitality at the ranch before resuming the action in the afternoon
