Unveil the secret of Murano art of glassblowing with the Venice Murano Glass Demonstration. You will visit a glassblowing factory in St. Mark Square, and the master artisan of the factory accompanies you as a guide throughout the tour.
Get to know the history and process of glassblowing as you explore the factory. The master artisan will also present a demonstration of how glass is moulded using traditional Murano technique.
At the end of the visit each of the guests (family or every couple) will receive a small glass gift as a souvenir of this unforgettable visit.

Venice Tours Assistance Point - St. Mark's Square - Calle Larga Ascensione, 1257, 30124 - The Assistance Point is the big grey newsstand between Fendi boutique and Poste Italiane (Post Office). You'll see a sign "VENICE TOURS - ASSISTANCE POINT". The staff will wait for you there with the sign “GLASSBLOWING TOUR”.
With Piazza San Marco and the arches of Museo Correr at your back and the Poste Italiane (Post Office) in front of you, look on the left and you will see a big grey newsstand (with many souvenir and newspapers): that one is the Venice Tours Assistance Point.

You will visit the Glass Factory Showroom located in St Mark’s Square in Venice for the Venice Venice Murano Glass Demonstration. You will be guided by a professional master artisan of the glass factory, who will tell you about the origins of the art of glassblowing which dates back to the Roman Empire. Through the ages the glassmakers have refined their techniques and have been in trade relations with Middle and Far East countries. After a brief introduction about the history and process of glassblowing, the master artisan will demonstrate how glass is moulded using traditional techniques. He will create a nice glass item for you and to conclude the tour on a happy note, you will receive a small gift as a souvenir.
