Discover some of the most iconic monuments in America during your Guided Liberty Island, Ellis Island, & Battery Park Experience!
A New York trip is incomplete without catching a glimpse of the famous Statue of Liberty. And, on Liberty Island, you can get up-close and personal with this symbolic gift from the people of France. Not just an iron and copper structure, Lady Liberty gave hope to many who traveled through rough seas to land on the shores of New York. Enjoy a guided tour of Liberty Island and Ellis Island, both of which are iconic symbols of New York and represent important moments in the country’s history. Explore Ellis Island, where nearly half of us can trace a relative who entered America! And, take a guided tour of Battery Park and discover the meaning behind its symbolic monuments.
Start your journey of Battery Park with your friendly tour guide. The guide will take you around the park for about 30 minutes, where you arrive at the Seaglass Carousel, Hope Garden, The Sphere from the twin towers, Castle Clinton, and many other points of interest. Then, get ready for a ferry ride to Liberty Island! Here you can get up-close and personal with Lady Liberty herself. Then, take a ferry ride to Ellis Island! Tiny but immensely significant, Ellis Island processed over 12 million migrants through its immigration center! If you’re looking to hit the most famous New York attractions and learn some American history along the way, then this is one of the best things to do in New York!
