    The New Orleans Evening Segway Tour gives you the chance to experience the city in an interesting way, covering the major highlights of the city. The sites to be covered are The French Quarter, Mississippi River Front, Louis Armstrong Park, Jackson Square, Bourbon Street and The Old US Mint.

    The entire tour will be conducted by an expert guide who will take you around the city and share interesting anecdotes and stories.

    You will meet your guide at 214 Decatur Street, New Orleans, LA 70130, where he will be waiting on a segway. Your New Orleans Evening Segway Tour will begin after a 30 minute orientation session with your guide on how to ride the vehicle and few safety tips.

    Get on your segway and glide your way along the illuminated streets and visit the major attractions of the city.

    Some of the major highlights of the tours are as follows:

    The French Quarter: Also called the Vieux Carré, it is the original settlement of New Orleans and the oldest neighbourhood in the city. Currently, it is a melting pot of the bustling party scene to the historical architecture evolved since it was established in the late 1700s.

    Louis Armstrong Park: Named after the Jazz legend, Louis Armstrong, it was here that the first New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival was held. Inside this beautifully manicured park, rests the Congo Square which was the historic meeting place for slaves in the 1800s.

    Bourbon Street: Though it’s the most happening place in New Orleans and boasts of burlesque clubs and all-night partying, Bourbon Street is also home to folklore and rich history which dates back to 1718 when when the city was founded by Jean-Baptiste Le Moyne de Bienville.

    The other highlights include the Missisippi River Front, Jackson Square and The Old US Mint.

    During the course of the tour, your guide will enrich you with fascinating stories and the history of the sites visited.

    Our tours operate rain or sunshine. During rains, rain ponchos are available for $1(refunded if not used)

    Persons must be at least 100 pounds and under 260 pounds.

    Insurance requires that the local operators, City Segway Tours pre-authorize $500 on a credit card. Please bring any credit card for this deposit. Each person will be required to complete and sign a liability waiver form.

    Voucher Information: You must print and surrender a paper version of your booking voucher for this activity (showing your voucher on a smartphone is not accepted). No refund can be given for customers without a printed copy of their voucher.

    Additional info

    The confirmation voucher includes the local activity operator’s contact details and local telephone numbers at the destination. They will happily answer any logistical questions you may have.
